UFJC Title Successfully Defended

Kashiwa Reysol defeated FC Tokyo by a score of 2-1 to retain the UFJC title at National Stadium on Monday, December 29. This was an Emperor's Cup match.


The current Unofficial Football Japanese Championship holders are Kashiwa Reysol, winning the title from Sanfrecce Hiroshima on December 20 by a score of 3-2.

Since that match, Sanfrecce Hiroshima has successfully defended the title against:

-FC Tokyo on December 29 with a 2-1 win

This is Kashiwa's 14th reign as UFJC title holder.

Kashiwa's next defense will take place on January 1 with an Emperor's Cup match in National Stadium against Gamba Osaka.
