UFJC Title Successfully Defended

Sanfrecce Hiroshima defeated Osaka Sports University by a score of 6-0 to retain the UFJC title in Akita on Sunday, October 12. This was in the third round of the Emperor's Cup.


The current Unofficial Football Japanese Championship holders are Sanfrecce Hiroshima, winning the title from Shonan Bellmare on October 4 by a score of 2-0.

Since that match, Sanfrecce Hiroshima has successfully defended the title against:

-Osaka Sports University on October 12 with a 6-0 win

This is Hiroshima's 15th reign as UFJC title holder.

Hiroshima's next defense will take place on October 25 with a league match at home against Sagan Tosu.
