UFJC Title Successfully Defended

Matsumoto Yamaga FC defeated Gainare Tottori 7-1 to retain the UFJC title at home on Sunday, September 23. It was a league match.

The current Unofficial Football Japanese Championship holders are Matsumoto Yamaga FC, winning the title from FC Machida Zelvia on September 14 by a score of 3-0.

Since that win, Kusatsu has successfully defended the title against:

-Yokohama FC by a score of 1-1.
-Gainare Tottori by a score of 7-1.

This is Matsumoto's 1st reign as UFJC title holder.

Matsumoto's next defense will take place on September 30 at home against FC Gifu in a league match.
