FC Tokyo defeated Giravanz Kitakyushu to retain the UFJC title at home on Wednesday, September 28. It was a league match.
The current Unofficial Football Japanese Championship holders are FC Tokyo, winning the title from Ehime FC on September 17 by a score of 5-0.
Since that win, Tokyo has successfully defended the title against:
-Yokohama FC by a score of 3-0.
-Giravanz Kitakyushu by a score of 2-0.
This is Tokyo's 10th reign as UFJC title holder.
Tokyo's next defense will take place away on Sunday, October 2, against Tokushima Vortis.
