UFJC Title Successfully Defended

Sanfrecce Hiroshima drew Shimizu S-Pulse by a score of 1-1 to retain the UFJC title at home on Saturday, March 6. This was a league match.

The current Unofficial Football Japanese Championship holders are Sanfrecce Hiroshima, winning the title from JEF United Ichihara Chiba on December 5 by a score of 4-1.
Since that match, Sanfrecce Hiroshima has successfully defended the title against:

-Shimizu S-Pulse on March 6 with a 1-1 draw

This is Hiroshima's 16th reign as UFJC title holder.

Hiroshima's next defense will take place on March 14th with a league match away against Vissel Kobe.
