UFJC Title Successfully Defended

Omiya Ardija drew Kashiwa Reysol by a score of 2-2 to retain the UFJC title away on Saturday, April 4. This was a league match.


The current Unofficial Football Japanese Championship holders are Omiya Ardija, winning the title from Albirex Niigata on March 25 by a score of 2-1.

Since that match, Albirex Niigata has successfully defended the title against:

-Oita Trinita on March 29 with a 0-0 draw
-Kashiwa Reysol n April 4 with a 2-2 odraw
This is Omiya's 3rd reign as UFJC title holder.

Omiya's next defense will take place on April 12th with a league match at home against Gamba Osaka.
