UFJC Title Successfully Defended

Kashima Antlers defeated Urawa Reds by a score of 2-0 to retain the UFJC title at home on Saturday, March 7. This was a J1 league match.


The current Unofficial Football Japanese Championship holders are Kashima Antlers, winning the title from Gamba Osaka on February 28 by a score of 3-0.

Since that match, Sanfrecce Hiroshima has successfully defended the title against:

-Urawa Reds on March 7 with a 2-0 win

This is Kashima's 24th reign as UFJC title holder.

Kashima's next defense will take place on March 15 with a league match away against Albirex Niigata.
