UFJC Title Successfully Defended

Ventforet Kofu successfully defended the UFJC title by defeating Ehime FC away on Saturday, September 20.


The current Unofficial Football Japanese Championship holders are Ventforet Kofu, winning the title from Sanfrecce Hiroshima on August 18 by a score of 2-0.

Since that match, Venforet Kofu has successfully defended the title against:

-Montedio Yamagata on August 23 with a 1-1 draw
-Roasso Kumamoto on August 30 with a 5-1 win
-Sagan Tosu on September 7 with a 1-1 draw
-Thespa Kusatsu on September 14 with a 2-2 draw
-Ehime FC on September 20 with a 1-0 win

This is Kofu's 5th reign as UFJC title holder.

Kofu's next defense will take place on September 23 with a home league match against FC Gifu.
